Developed during the Kamakura period, Bushido is a philosophy that embodies the way of the warrior. As one of the seven Spirits of Japan Luxurique seeks to illustrate, you can expect experiences that build discipline and willpower.

The Discipline of Execution

The Mujo spirit is inspired by the philosophy that originated from Zen Buddhism. It is the understanding of impermanence that nothing lasts forever and that the fleeting nature is the essence of life and beauty.

Wa is the Spirit of Japan that stands for the harmony of things, representing the spirit of peaceful unity and social cohesion. It can be seen in Japanese culture as symbolizing the respect for the balance of tradition and modernity, and of life and connection.

The Architecture of Harmony

Inspired by the Spirits of Japan program, Fuzei represents a philosophy rooted in Japanese aesthetics and atmosphere. Rather than being easily defined, it is felt through the mood, ambiance, and emotional harmony character of a place or experience.

The Presence of Atmosphere

Iki is the Spirit of Japan that embodies the understated beauty and sophistication of human-made creation and behavior. In performance, it is expressed through graceful and lively movements, while in art and design, Iki appears through clean, parallel lines and restrained tones such as blue and gray.

The Language of Refinement

Experience Japan’s distinctive philosophy through the spirit of Wabi-Sabi, an aesthetic that finds beauty in simplicity, imperfection, and stillness. Rooted in minimalism and elegance, it reflects an appreciation and acceptance of transcience and imperfection
