Naomi Mano arranged for her to get professionally dressed in a hand-crafted kimono worth USD300,000 in the stunning surroundings of the Old Mitsui Family Shimogamo Villa followed by an evening at Michelin-starred restaurant Mokubei, entertained by geisha. In her roles as President of Japan MICE Association and Luxurique CEO, Naomi Mano spoke at PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) Destination Marketing Forum 2022, held in Hat Yai, Thailand. The event brought together 300 of the most prominent players in the travel industry to discuss the theme of "building back sustainably through cultural heritage and community-based tourism." In her panel discussion, FOCUS on MICE: The changing world of MICE, Mano discussed how this sector is leading the tourism industry as it reopens worldwide.
